Transliteration

itihāsapurāṇāni bhidyante kāla gauravāt | skāndaṃ tathā ca brahmāṇḍaṃ purāṇaṃ laiṅgameva ca

Os Itihāsas e os Purāṇas acabam por se dividir pelo peso do tempo; assim, o Skānda, o Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa e também o Laiṅga (Liṅga Purāṇa) são encontrados em divisões distintas.
