गोदानं तत्र देयं तु ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे । सम्यक्च लभते देवि यात्रायाः फलमूर्जितम्
godānaṃ tatra deyaṃ tu brāhmaṇe vedapārage | samyakca labhate devi yātrāyāḥ phalamūrjitam
Ali, de fato, deve-se oferecer o dom de vacas a um Brāhmaṇa versado nos Vedas; e então, ó Deusa, obtém-se devidamente o fruto poderoso e abundante da peregrinação.
