Īśvara disse: Então, ó Grande Deusa, deve-se ir a Sāvitrī, a Mãe dos mundos—apaziguadora dos graves pecados—situada na direção que começa (pelo quadrante) de Someśa.
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Sāvitrī (Lokamātā) at Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva instructs Devī about the next stop in the pilgrimage circuit: a shrine of Sāvitrī, maternal and radiant, placed along a directional axis from Someśa; pilgrims move in an orderly parikramā line with lamps and offerings.
The Māhātmya frames the Goddess as a purifying refuge within sacred geography—pilgrimage becomes a moral and spiritual reorientation.
The Sāvitrī shrine/tirtha within Prabhāsakṣetra, located with reference to the quarter of Someśa.
To go to Sāvitrī as part of the prescribed pilgrimage circuit (tīrtha-yātrā).
