Transliteration

kṛtvā mahattapo devi tṛṇabiṃdumu nīśvaraḥ | māsimāsi kuśāgreṇa jalabiṃduṃ nipīya vai

Translation

Ó Deusa, após realizar grande austeridade, o sábio-senhor Tṛṇabindu, mês após mês, de fato bebia apenas uma gota de água da ponta de uma lâmina de kuśa.
