इति दत्ते तदा शाप ऋषीणां च महात्मनाम् । गौरीं प्रसादयामासुस्ते च सर्वे सुरेश्वराः
iti datte tadā śāpa ṛṣīṇāṃ ca mahātmanām | gaurīṃ prasādayāmāsuste ca sarve sureśvarāḥ
Assim, quando a maldição foi proferida contra os ṛṣis de grande alma, todos aqueles senhores entre os deuses buscaram apaziguar a augusta Gaurī.
