Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: Citizens scatter in all directions, leaving streets empty; in the background the temple stands firm. The feared rākṣasa king’s presence is sensed as a dark, imposing figure approaching the sacred precinct.
Worldly power can inspire fear, but the sacred space remains the refuge where fear is ultimately addressed through divine order.
Prabhāsakṣetra—the setting where even formidable figures like Rāvaṇa appear before Somēśvara.
None in this verse; it sets the narrative atmosphere of awe and fear.
