Transliteration

prājāpatyaṃ yadā ṛkṣaṃ tithau tasyāṃ bhavedyadi | sā mahākārtikī puṇyā devānāmapi durlabhā

Translation

Se, nesse mesmo tithi, ocorrer o asterismo Prājāpatya, então essa Kārtikī torna-se a santíssima e supremamente grande Mahākārtikī—rara até para os deuses.
