वायुर्ब्रह्माऽनलो रुद्रो विष्णुरापः प्रकीर्तितः । रात्रिर्विष्णुरहो रुद्रो या संध्या स पितामहः
vāyurbrahmā'nalo rudro viṣṇurāpaḥ prakīrtitaḥ | rātrirviṣṇuraho rudro yā saṃdhyā sa pitāmahaḥ
Declara-se que Brahmā é o vento; Rudra, o fogo; e Viṣṇu é proclamado como as águas. A noite é Viṣṇu, o dia é Rudra, e a junção crepuscular (saṃdhyā) é esse Avô primordial, Brahmā.
