मम तेजोविनिर्दग्धः कृष्णत्वं हि यतो गतः । कृष्ण एव ततो नाम लोके ख्यातिं गमिष्यति
mama tejovinirdagdhaḥ kṛṣṇatvaṃ hi yato gataḥ | kṛṣṇa eva tato nāma loke khyātiṃ gamiṣyati
“Porque foste chamuscado pelo fulgor ardente do meu tejas e assim te tornaste de cor escura; por isso o próprio nome ‘Kṛṣṇa’ se tornará célebre no mundo.”
