Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 23
देव्युवाच । परितुष्टास्मि ते वत्स व्रतेनानेन नित्यथः । बलिपूजाविधानेन विहितेनामुना स्वयम्
devyuvāca | parituṣṭāsmi te vatsa vratenānena nityathaḥ | balipūjāvidhānena vihitenāmunā svayam
A Deusa disse: “Meu filho querido, estou plenamente satisfeita contigo por este voto que observas continuamente, e por este rito de oferenda (bali) e adoração que realizaste conforme foi prescrito.”
