Transliteration

evaṃ śaptvā gajaṃ śīghraṃ naṣṭo vaiśvānaraḥ punaḥ | devāścāpi tathā pṛṣṭhe saṃlagnāstaddidṛkṣayā

Translation

Assim, após amaldiçoar rapidamente o elefante, Vaiśvānara (o Fogo) tornou a desaparecer; e os deuses também o seguiram bem de perto, desejosos de ver o que iria acontecer.
