एतस्मात्कारणादस्य निग्रहोऽयं मया कृतः । मनसा न च वाक्येन न च केशव कर्मणा
etasmātkāraṇādasya nigraho'yaṃ mayā kṛtaḥ | manasā na ca vākyena na ca keśava karmaṇā
“Por esta razão lhe impus esta restrição; contudo, ó Keśava, não agi por malícia pessoal — nem por pensamento, nem por palavra, nem por ação.”
