ततोऽस्य प्रददौ काले व्रतं विप्रजनोचितम् । समभ्येत्य स्वयं शुक्रो दानवस्यापि संद्विजः
tato'sya pradadau kāle vrataṃ viprajanocitam | samabhyetya svayaṃ śukro dānavasyāpi saṃdvijaḥ
Então, no tempo devido, foi-lhe concedido um voto sagrado apropriado aos estudantes de nascimento brāhmaṇa. O próprio Śukra veio em pessoa—preceptor dos Dānavas e venerável duas-vezes-nascido.
