Transliteration

| evaṃ tasya narendrasya vyāghrarūpasya kānane | jagāma sumahānkālo nighnato vividhāndvija

Translation

Deste modo, enquanto aquele rei—agora na forma de um tigre—permanecia na floresta, passou-se um tempo muitíssimo longo, enquanto ele ia abatendo diversos seres, ó brāhmaṇa.
