सूत उवाच । कार्तिक्यां कृत्तिकायोगे यदा गच्छति चंद्रमाः । तदा निष्क्रामति श्रेष्ठं कमलं जलमध्यतः
sūta uvāca | kārtikyāṃ kṛttikāyoge yadā gacchati caṃdramāḥ | tadā niṣkrāmati śreṣṭhaṃ kamalaṃ jalamadhyataḥ
Sūta disse: “No mês de Kārttika, na conjunção de Kṛttikā, quando a Lua entra nessa configuração, então um lótus excelentíssimo emerge do meio das águas.”
