Transliteration

etadvaḥ sarvamākhyātaṃ sarvapātakanāśanam | ākhyānaṃ devadevasya supuṇyaṃ jalaśāyinaḥ

Translation

Assim vos narrei tudo isto—um relato que destrói todo pecado: a história sagrada, de mérito supremo, do Deus dos deuses, o Senhor que repousa sobre as águas.
