अगस्त्य उवाच । यदि देवि प्रसन्ना मे तदास्यं विश सत्वरम् । येन संशोषयाम्याशु समुद्रं देवि वाग्यतः
agastya uvāca | yadi devi prasannā me tadāsyaṃ viśa satvaram | yena saṃśoṣayāmyāśu samudraṃ devi vāgyataḥ
Agastya disse: «Se estás satisfeita comigo, ó Deusa, entra depressa em minha boca, para que, pelo poder da tua palavra/da tua bênção, eu possa secar rapidamente o oceano.»
