Transliteration

asthiśeṣā nirutsāhāstyaktadharmavratakriyāḥ | abhakṣyabhakṣaṇaparāstathaivāpeyapāyinaḥ

Translation

Reduzidos a meros ossos e sem ânimo, abandonaram o dharma, os votos (vrata) e os deveres rituais. Passaram a comer o que não deve ser comido e, do mesmo modo, a beber o que não deve ser bebido.
