वृषादर्भि रुवाच । प्रतिग्रहो द्विजातीनां प्रोक्ता वृत्तिरनिंदिता । ग्राह्यो मत्तस्ततः सर्वैर्नात्र कार्या विचारणा
vṛṣādarbhi ruvāca | pratigraho dvijātīnāṃ proktā vṛttiraniṃditā | grāhyo mattastataḥ sarvairnātra kāryā vicāraṇā
Vṛṣādarbhi disse: «A aceitação de dádivas (pratigraha) é declarada um meio de sustento sem censura para os duas-vezes-nascidos (dvija). Portanto, todos vós deveis aceitá-la de mim; aqui não há necessidade de deliberação.»
