Transliteration

atha sarpākṛtiṃ māṃ ca duḥkhena mahatānvitam | taṭasthaṃ bhayasaṃtrastaṃ tathā sarvajanaṃ tadā

Translation

Então (ele viu) a mim em forma de serpente, tomado por grande aflição, de lado e tremendo de medo; e todo o povo, naquele momento, estava aterrorizado.
