Transliteration

yadvatparvatasaṃjātā nadī ca kṣaṇabhaṃgurā | putrāḥ kalatrāṇi ca vā ye cānye bāṃdhavādayaḥ

Translation

Assim como um rio que nasce da montanha é momentâneo e frágil, assim também o são os filhos, a esposa e todos os demais parentes e apegos.
