जना ऊचुः । न वयं तत्पुरं विद्मो न देशं न च भूपतिम् । इन्द्रद्युम्नाभिधानं च यं त्वं पृच्छसि भद्रक
janā ūcuḥ | na vayaṃ tatpuraṃ vidmo na deśaṃ na ca bhūpatim | indradyumnābhidhānaṃ ca yaṃ tvaṃ pṛcchasi bhadraka
O povo disse: “Não conhecemos essa cidade, nem esse país, nem esse rei. E tampouco sabemos de alguém chamado Indradyumna, por quem perguntas, ó homem de bem.”
