यस्मात्पाप त्वया स्पृष्टा प्रसुप्ताहं रजस्वला । बकधर्मं समाश्रित्य भर्त्ता मे वंचितस्त्वया । अन्यरूपं समास्थाय तस्मात्सत्यं बको भव
yasmātpāpa tvayā spṛṣṭā prasuptāhaṃ rajasvalā | bakadharmaṃ samāśritya bharttā me vaṃcitastvayā | anyarūpaṃ samāsthāya tasmātsatyaṃ bako bhava
«Porque tu, ó pecador, tocaste-me enquanto eu dormia, quando eu estava em meu período; e, refugiando-te no “caminho da garça”, enganaste meu esposo—por isso, assumindo outra forma, torna-te verdadeiramente uma garça (baka)!»
