tathā ca māgadho jajñe vaiśyena dvijasaṃbhave | kṣetre māgadhavīryeṇa buruḍo maruduttama
Do mesmo modo, o Māgadha nasceu de um vaiśya em uma linhagem de duas-vezes-nascidos (dvija). E, no “kṣetra”, pela semente do Māgadha, surgiu o Buruḍa—ó chefe dos Marut (Indra).
