अमोघं ते ततो नूनं त्वं वृत्रं सूदयिष्यसि । तस्य वज्रस्य तत्तेजो ब्रह्मतेजोऽभिबृंहितम् । तेन वृत्रोद्भवं तेजः प्रशमं संप्रयास्यति
amoghaṃ te tato nūnaṃ tvaṃ vṛtraṃ sūdayiṣyasi | tasya vajrasya tattejo brahmatejo'bhibṛṃhitam | tena vṛtrodbhavaṃ tejaḥ praśamaṃ saṃprayāsyati
Então tua arma será certamente infalível, e tu matarás Vṛtra. O esplendor desse Vajra é fortalecido pela radiância bramânica; por ele, o poder ígneo nascido de Vṛtra será apaziguado e levado à quietude.
