कृत्तिका ऊचुः । सत्यं वदामहे देवि तव त्रैलोक्यशोभिते । अस्य स्तंबसमूहस्य मध्यस्थं बालकं वृणु
kṛttikā ūcuḥ | satyaṃ vadāmahe devi tava trailokyaśobhite | asya staṃbasamūhasya madhyasthaṃ bālakaṃ vṛṇu
Disseram as Kṛttikās: «Ó Deusa, dizemos a verdade, tu que embelezas os três mundos. Escolhe a criança que está no meio deste feixe de juncos».
