pārvatyuvāca | dvādaśākṣaramāhātmyaṃ mama vistarato vada | yathāvarṇaṃ yatphalaṃ ca yathā ca kriyate mayā

Pārvatī disse: “Explica-me por completo a grandeza do mantra de doze sílabas—sua forma correta segundo as sílabas, o fruto que ele concede e o modo como devo praticá-lo.”
