तेषां बलाच्च पार्वत्याः शापभारेण यन्त्रितः । तां नित्यमेवानुनयन्नृचे सोवाच शंकरम्
teṣāṃ balācca pārvatyāḥ śāpabhāreṇa yantritaḥ | tāṃ nityamevānunayannṛce sovāca śaṃkaram
E, pela urgência deles, e constrangido pelo pesado fardo da maldição de Pārvatī, ele buscava continuamente apaziguá-la; então, por meio de um hino sagrado (ṛc), dirigiu-se a Śaṅkara.
