अथासौ प्रणिपत्योच्चैः प्रोवाच द्विजसत्तमान् । जलभ्रांत्या सुरा पीता मया कुरुत निग्रहम्
athāsau praṇipatyoccaiḥ provāca dvijasattamān | jalabhrāṃtyā surā pītā mayā kuruta nigraham
Então, prostrando-se com respeito, falou em voz alta àqueles melhores dos brāhmaṇas: “Por engano, tomando-o por água, bebi licor. Peço que me imponhais a disciplina apropriada.”
