Transliteration

nārada uvāca | dīpo'yaṃ viṣṇubhavane mantravadvihito naraiḥ | sadā viśeṣaphaladaścāturmāsye'dhikaḥ katham

Translation

Nārada disse: “Esta oferenda de lâmpada na morada de Viṣṇu, realizada pelos homens com mantra e rito devido—embora sempre conceda mérito especial—por que se torna ainda mais frutuosa durante o período de Cāturmāsya?”
