ब्रह्मोवाच । मम भक्तिपरो नित्यं वृकोऽयं दैत्यसत्तमः । पौत्रस्त्वं दयितो नित्यं तेन त्वां प्रार्थयाम्यहम्
brahmovāca | mama bhaktiparo nityaṃ vṛko'yaṃ daityasattamaḥ | pautrastvaṃ dayito nityaṃ tena tvāṃ prārthayāmyaham
Brahmā disse: “Este Vṛka, o mais eminente entre os Dānavas, é sempre devoto a mim. E tu, meu neto, és-me sempre querido; por isso te suplico.”
