नमस्कृत्य पितॄन्पश्चात्सुप्रोक्षितं ततः परम् । कृत्वा सव्येन राजेन्द्र याचयित्वा वराशिषः
namaskṛtya pitṝnpaścātsuprokṣitaṃ tataḥ param | kṛtvā savyena rājendra yācayitvā varāśiṣaḥ
Depois de reverenciar os Pitṛs (seres ancestrais) e, em seguida, aspergir a oferenda com água santificada conforme o rito, ó melhor dos reis, deve-se prosseguir segundo a prescrição pelo lado esquerdo (savyena) e pedir bênçãos auspiciosas.
