उच्छिष्टसन्निधौ पश्चात्पितृवेदिं समाचरेत् । पितृविप्रासनस्थानां नोच्छिष्टं द्विजसन्निधौ

Transliteration

ucchiṣṭasannidhau paścātpitṛvediṃ samācaret | pitṛviprāsanasthānāṃ nocchiṣṭaṃ dvijasannidhau

Translation

Depois, nas proximidades onde se acham os restos (da refeição), deve-se realizar o rito do altar dos pitṛs. Porém, na presença dos brāhmaṇas, não se mantenham restos junto aos assentos ou lugares dos pitṛs e dos brāhmaṇas.
