Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 13
विषमौ द्विगुणैर्दर्भैः सतिलैर्वामपार्श्वतः । पाणौ तोयं परिक्षिप्य न दर्भांस्तु कथं चन
viṣamau dviguṇairdarbhaiḥ satilairvāmapārśvataḥ | pāṇau toyaṃ parikṣipya na darbhāṃstu kathaṃ cana
No lado esquerdo, deve-se dispor, conforme a prescrição, de modo desigual, com a relva darbha em quantidade dobrada e com sésamo. Tendo aspergido água na mão, não se deve, em circunstância alguma, manusear ou colocar as darbhas de forma imprópria.
