एकादशप्रमाणेन ततश्चान्ये नृपोत्तम । अजश्च प्रथमं सृष्टः स तथा मेध्यतां गतः
ekādaśapramāṇena tataścānye nṛpottama | ajaśca prathamaṃ sṛṣṭaḥ sa tathā medhyatāṃ gataḥ
Depois, ó melhor dos reis, outros foram criados segundo a medida de onze; e a cabra foi criada primeiro e, do mesmo modo, passou a ser tida como medhya, apta à pureza do sacrifício.
