यथा न भवति श्राद्धं तस्मिन्नहनि भूतले । यत्प्रभावाद्वयं सर्वे मानुषैः श्राद्धमाश्रितैः । न यामोऽभिभवस्थानं तस्माच्छप्स्यामहे च तान्
yathā na bhavati śrāddhaṃ tasminnahani bhūtale | yatprabhāvādvayaṃ sarve mānuṣaiḥ śrāddhamāśritaiḥ | na yāmo'bhibhavasthānaṃ tasmācchapsyāmahe ca tān
“Para que, naquele dia, sobre a terra, não se realize o Śrāddha—pois, pelo poder dos homens que se amparam no Śrāddha, nenhum de nós chega ao estado de ser subjugado—por isso os amaldiçoaremos.”
