Skanda (deduced)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Night vigil before śrāddha: the yajamāna seated quietly with japa-mālā or darbha, lamp burning; then dawn scene of him rising, washing, preparing for the rite.
Inner restraint—peace of mind and continence—is presented as essential preparation for sacred ancestral offerings.
No specific tīrtha is named in this verse; it gives general preparatory conduct within a tīrthamāhātmya context.
The yajamāna should observe brahmacarya and a calm demeanor through the night, then rise early to proceed.
