भर्तृयज्ञ उवाच । तच्छ्रुत्वा पितरो हृष्टा जग्मुः स्वंस्वं निकेतनम् । वर्षांतेऽपि समासाद्य श्राद्धं न स्युर्बुभुक्षिताः
bhartṛyajña uvāca | tacchrutvā pitaro hṛṣṭā jagmuḥ svaṃsvaṃ niketanam | varṣāṃte'pi samāsādya śrāddhaṃ na syurbubhukṣitāḥ
Disse Bhartṛyajña: Ao ouvir isso, os Pitṛs alegraram-se e foram, cada qual, à sua própria morada. E quando chegar o fim do ano, não permanecerão famintos, pois o śrāddha será realizado.
