कृपणोऽपि धनाढ्यश्चेदागच्छति हि याचितुम् । एष दास्यति मे किंचि दिति चित्ते नृणां भवेत्
Transliteration
kṛpaṇo'pi dhanāḍhyaścedāgacchati hi yācitum | eṣa dāsyati me kiṃci diti citte nṛṇāṃ bhavet
Translation
Mas, se até um avarento, embora rico, vem mendigar, as pessoas pensam no coração: «Certamente ele me dará algo».
