Transliteration

etasminnantare jātaḥ sahasrākṣaḥ puraṃdaraḥ | śobhayā parayā yukto munestasya prabhāva taḥ

Translation

Naquele mesmo instante, Puraṃdara (Indra) tornou-se ‘Sahasrākṣa’, o de mil olhos; e, pelo poder daquele muni, foi dotado de beleza excelsa.
