विश्वामित्र उवाच । कीर्तयिष्ये नरव्याघ्र कारणानि बहूनि च । चमत्कारस्य पत्न्याश्च दानेन पतिता यतः
viśvāmitra uvāca | kīrtayiṣye naravyāghra kāraṇāni bahūni ca | camatkārasya patnyāśca dānena patitā yataḥ
Viśvāmitra disse: «Ó tigre entre os homens, narrarei muitas causas. Pois a esposa de Camatkāra caiu da retidão por causa de uma dádiva, de um ato de dar (dāna).»
