राजोवाच । संत्यन्ये विविधा विप्रा वेदवेदांगपारगाः । मध्यदेशोद्भवाः शान्तास्तथान्ये तीर्थसंभवाः
rājovāca | saṃtyanye vividhā viprā vedavedāṃgapāragāḥ | madhyadeśodbhavāḥ śāntāstathānye tīrthasaṃbhavāḥ
Disse o Rei: «Há também muitos outros brāhmaṇas, versados nos Vedas e nos Vedāṅgas, nascidos em Madhyadeśa e de conduta serena; e há ainda outros nascidos em lugares sagrados de peregrinação (tīrtha).»
