भर्तृयज्ञविधानेन शुद्धैः स्थानोद्भवैर्द्विजैः । भर्तृयज्ञविधिं त्यक्त्वा योऽन्येन विधिना नरः
bhartṛyajñavidhānena śuddhaiḥ sthānodbhavairdvijaiḥ | bhartṛyajñavidhiṃ tyaktvā yo'nyena vidhinā naraḥ
“Segundo a regra correta do bhartṛ-yajña, (o rito) deve ser feito com brāhmaṇas dvija, puros e naturais daquele próprio lugar. Mas o homem que, abandonando o procedimento do bhartṛ-yajña, o realiza por outro método…”
