यत्र सोमेश्वरो देवस्त्यक्त्वा कैलासमागतः । न मया पठिता वेदा न च शास्त्रं नृपोत्तम । तीर्थयात्राप्रसंगेन तेन भिक्षां चराम्यहम्
yatra someśvaro devastyaktvā kailāsamāgataḥ | na mayā paṭhitā vedā na ca śāstraṃ nṛpottama | tīrthayātrāprasaṃgena tena bhikṣāṃ carāmyaham
Ali é o lugar onde o Senhor Someśvara veio, deixando o Kailāsa. Ó melhor dos reis, não estudei os Vedas nem os tratados (śāstra); é apenas pela ocasião da peregrinação aos tīrtha que vivo de esmolas.
