न वरिष्याम्यहं तेन सुतां तेऽहं नरसिप । निर्दाक्षिण्यमिति प्रोच्य दशार्णाधिपतिस्तदा

Transliteration

na variṣyāmyahaṃ tena sutāṃ te'haṃ narasipa | nirdākṣiṇyamiti procya daśārṇādhipatistadā

Translation

“Portanto, ó senhor dos homens, não me casarei com tua filha.” Dizendo: “Isto seria falta de retidão e decoro”, assim falou então o rei de Daśārṇa.
