ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । यदि यच्छसि चास्माकं दक्षिणां यज्ञसंभवाम् । तदस्माकं स्ववासेन स्थानं नय पवित्रताम्

Transliteration

brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | yadi yacchasi cāsmākaṃ dakṣiṇāṃ yajñasaṃbhavām | tadasmākaṃ svavāsena sthānaṃ naya pavitratām

Translation

Os brāhmaṇas disseram: “Se desejas dar-nos a dakṣiṇā, a remuneração ritual nascida do yajña, então, pelo nosso próprio habitar aqui, conduz este lugar à pureza.”
