Transliteration

evaṃ jñātvā mayā vipra dṛṣṭvā sarpaviceṣṭitam | sarvasaṃgaparityāgo mokṣārthaṃ parikalpitaḥ

Translation

Assim, ó brāhmaṇa, tendo compreendido (esta verdade) ao observar o proceder de uma serpente, adotei o abandono de todos os apegos como caminho estabelecido para a libertação (mokṣa).
