होतव्यं हविरेवात्र समाप्तिं यास्यति क्रतुः । नान्यथा सत्यमेवोक्तं तवाग्रे चतुरानन
hotavyaṃ havirevātra samāptiṃ yāsyati kratuḥ | nānyathā satyamevoktaṃ tavāgre caturānana
«Aqui deve ser oferecido somente o havis; por ele o sacrifício alcançará a consumação — nunca de outro modo. Esta é a verdade que declaro diante de ti, ó Caturānana, o de quatro faces (Brahmā).»
