एषोऽह शरणं प्राप्तो युष्माकं द्विजसत्तमाः । अनुगृह्णीत मां सर्वे दीक्षायै यज्ञकर्मणः
eṣo'ha śaraṇaṃ prāpto yuṣmākaṃ dvijasattamāḥ | anugṛhṇīta māṃ sarve dīkṣāyai yajñakarmaṇaḥ
«Vim buscar refúgio em vós, ó melhores entre os dvija, os “duas‑vezes‑nascidos”. Sede todos compassivos comigo, para que eu receba a dīkṣā, a consagração para a obra deste yajña.»
