प्रसन्नया कुमार्या तु स्वयं चाऽथ करोति या । गृह्णाति या च वै नारी पिंडिकां बलिसंयुताम्
prasannayā kumāryā tu svayaṃ cā'tha karoti yā | gṛhṇāti yā ca vai nārī piṃḍikāṃ balisaṃyutām
E a mulher que o prepara com as próprias mãos, junto de uma donzela serena (kanyā), e depois recebe a piṇḍikā acompanhada da oferenda bali—essa, de fato, alcança o benefício sagrado almejado.
